SLIDESMART DC 15 is an extremely reliable, continuous duty, electromechanical, UPS battery backed up slide gate operator designed for millions of maintenance-free residential, commercial and industrial cycles.
Gracefully start and stop, up to a 40 ft gate or maximum gate weight of 1,500 lb, on every cycle. Set Open/Close speed independently - adjustable 0.75 to 1.25 ft/s. Unique "Ice Breaker Mode" powers through morning ice/snow buildup, reducing unnecessary service calls and user complaints. Adaptive IES (inherent entrapment sensor) provides optimum gate resistance sensitivity and eliminates false trips. No heater required unless temperatures drop below -13F (-25C). The low flex, zinc-plated chassis provides superior corrosion protection. Operator features an attractive, tight fitting, key locked, fade resistant, clam shell cover.
UPS standard battery backup uses two 8Ah batteries for up to 4,000 ft of gate travel after AC power loss. Upgrade to 50Ah batteries with the Extended Battery Backup Kit for an exceptional 25,000 ft of gate travel after AC power loss.* Field configurable to fail open or secure when batteries deplete. The HySecurity designed intelligent charging system monitors battery condition to maximize battery life.
Easily configure gate operation to specific site requirements with unique and unequalled Smart DC Controller. PC interface provided for easy configuration and quick troubleshooting using Smart Touch Analyze and Retrieve Tool (S.T.A.R.T.). Programmable dual gate or sequenced gate integration. Two configurable user relays plus optional Hy8Relay - an extended relay module providing eight additional programmable relay outputs.
Monitor and communicate gate system and accessory malfunction or gate breach alert to service technician or security command and control in real time via Ethernet/fiber, using optional HyNet web based accessory. Security or operational alerts can be programmed for subscribers. The last 300 events logged in non-volatile memory can be downloaded from a remote location.
